The Challenge
Remote Access Logistics
Developing infrastructure on Caye Caulker presents unique logistical hurdles. The project required the transportation of over 500 tons of aggregate and heavy machinery to a site with no direct road access from the mainland.
Standard ferries could not handle the load, and timing was critical to meet the foundation pouring schedule before the rainy season began.
The Solution
Dedicated Barge Deployment
Medina's Material deployed our flat-deck barge fleet to facilitate continuous supply runs. We utilized our own heavy loaders to manage the roll-on/roll-off process efficiently at the port.
- 24-Hour Turnaround: Continuous barge rotation.
- On-Site Equipment: Excavators stationed on the island.
- Safety First: Zero incidents during marine transit.
